Additional Guests

Each additional guest over the base guest allotment for the cabin is $20.62/day or $103.09/week. Children under 2 stay free.

Check in: 3:00 PM on arrival date.

Check out: 9:00 AM on day of departure.

Stay with us for 1 week in the summer (excluding Cabins 12 and 13), and come back in the fall for ½ price!

Spring and Fall Rates

Spring and fall rates are $150 less than the summer weekly rate. Spring rates are from May 10th through May 26th 2025 and Fall rates are from August 16th through September 27th. Rentals for fall and spring are a 3-day minimum stay. Daily rates are 1/5 of the weekly rate.

Payment of the full amount of your stay, (less the deposit) is due at the end of your stay. Payment may be made by credit card, check, or cash. A 3% discount will be applied for all payments made by check or cash.

Dogs are welcome in all cabins except Cabin 13, with prior arrangement. Guests are required to call and/or email Idlewild resort to arrange dog accommodation. A cleaning fee of $30.93 per dog per day per cabin (i.e. every cabin the dog enters) applies for all dogs.

Guests who fail to notify Idlewild of their dog prior to arrival may be refused accommodation without refund.

Dogs must be leashed at all times on the premises and kenneled when left alone.

Dogs are not permitted on the furniture.

Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog.

Idlewild reserves the right to request guests to make other arrangements for their dog at any time without refund

A non-refundable deposit of $500/cabin ($515 if paying by credit card) per week is due at booking to hold your reservation. Deposits and a credit card on file are required. Payment can be made via check made payable to Idlewild Resort or credit card. Failure to pay your deposit will result in forfeiture of your reservation.

All reservations require a credit card on file. If you haven’t already provided it, please call 218-248-2291 with your credit card information.

All deposits, including both cabin rentals and boat rentals, are non-refundable.

We understand that things happen! We hope that you do not need to cancel, but if you do, please cancel at least 60 days prior to your arrival date to avoid payment of the full cabin rate.

Cancellations within 60 days of the arrival date will be held responsible for the full rental amount.
